    WOW! Of all of the third party eBay approved applications SHIPSAVER has been the most cost effective, profit improving and customer satisfying one I’ve ever used. It is super easy to use – they are very responsive and my costs are significantly lower when insuring domestic and international shipments. Before I could only afford to insure higher value items with the post office when shipping international – so I self-insured the international first class mail items. I worried every time I shipped a first class international package with no postal insurance. No more, I am now fully insured and worry free! Why isn’t everyone using SHIPSAVER? Thanks again SHIPSAVER.

    Wow! Thank you for the fast claim service! I expected to wait months to get my funds returned but within just a few days of filing the claim, I received my full amount back into my PayPal account. The USPS lost track of my package just after I dropped it off at the Post Office and there was no record of it being scanned in at any of the postal tracking pages I could find, but I finally found record of it being scanned in somewhere from my AdShip page. Then, I was able to file a claim with Ship Saver because I had proof it was shipped. All I had to do was fax the various forms and proof of loss to them and they took care of it within days.

    I am duly impressed, both with the low cost, and the quick claims service.

    SHIPSAVER answered all my question very fast and I had a lot of questions. After trying to get the buyer to sign claim form with no luck, Shipsurance ask for a few more documents and I was surprised at how fast they settled the claim. They applied the money to my PayPal account and that was it. Thanks for making this easy!

    I’ve had several claims submitted and service and claims have been handled professionally and prompt. It’s so much easier and you save a ton of money than going through USPS. I’ve filed other claims with carriers and it took months before I received my payment. Also other carriers do not pay for your shipping cost. Another feature, you can claim 10% above the cost of the item. This is great for me as I have some items with free shipping and the 10% addition helps when I get refunded.

    When I started using ShipSaver I thought to myself will they really pay the claim if an item doesn’t arrive? Well I got my answer and yes they do. The claim was easy to file and it was easy to upload the documents I was very impressed with how fast the taking care of. I do plan to continue using ShipSaver as it does help in the long run.

    I am very satisfied with ShipSaver. I have had no problems when it comes to claims and have found them very helpful. Any problem I had they were there to help me with the solution. My claim was processed fast and I would reccommend this insurance to all ebay sellers for thier protection especially when shipping internationally.

And I must say it is so easy to use it rather than an outside website for insurance, and cheaper than the post office. I really am glad eBay got this service.     I stumbled through the claim process (my fault, not ShipSaver) and was delighted to discover that it was easier than I anticipated. I was kept fully informed of the progress of my claim….advised of any information needed…and, happy to say, my claim was ultimately approved and paid a very short time frame compared to my past experience with the United States Post Office.

    Had an international claim submitted & resolved in about 5 weeks once the buyer mailed back the necessary form.

    In this electronic age, having a form available electronically and being able to submit it that way (not by FAX or snail mail) seems logical.

    Other than that, I was happy with the service and continue to use it.

    I’ve filed about 3 claims and started one that I did not have to finish because the Big Brown Truck company finally somewhat paid up. I am so sold on Shipsaver. Everything can be done electronically, and when you do speak with a person, they have a name and are personable. The only suggestion that I have is that they send only one notice, not two, of every step, and be sure the seller is clear which items they do or do not need to provide. It did take me a couple rounds to catch on.

    Make sure that you have the recipient of the package sign the lost pkg form BEFORE you refund their money or you can probably kiss it goodbye. Stamps.com has better customer service, you can actually call and get a live person and they don’t have all of the hassles that this Co. has.

    When I buy insurance for my listed items, one click is enough to enter the contract and purchase insurance for my sold items (and the price paid and the shipper information is already showing in the record0, but when I want to submit a claim, I have to fax or email copies of documents proving that I sold and shipped the item? If the insurer is integrated with Ebay they should have no trouble accessing those documents themselves without making me jump through hoops to collect the insurance. Seems like another unfair trick to make fulfilling their part of the contract easier to avoid.

    I’m very pleased with Shipsaver. They’re rates are affordable, and the service is easy to use. I especially appreciate being able to insure my First Class overseas packages, which is something the Post Office doesn’t offer.
    I recently had to file a claim, my first ever after seven years of selling online. Now, I’m even more impressed with Shipsaver. My customer was able to digitally sign the claim form(far more efficient and convenient compared to other insurance companies that require hard-copy signatures). I uploaded the necessary documents which wasn’t any trouble at all. It took only 7 business days from start to finish to receive payment for the claim. Exceptional service …I’ll definitely continue to use Shipsaver and highly recommend them to others.

    Just went through a very complicated claims process with a very uncooperative buyer of a very expensive item. Emma R. @ ShipSaver insurance was extremely helpful in completing this claim and getting me the cost of damage repair to the shipped item. This is the second time we’ve actually had to file a claim with ShipSaver and both were settled quickly without any additional problems from the insurer. Try to get this type of service or satisfaction through a USPS or FEDEX insurance claim!
    We now insure every item we sell through Ebay with Ship Saver; this is a very easy process that takes less than a minute to complete. Gives us complete peace of mind over the shipping side of our online business; that part over which we have no real control, other than choosing which shipper to use! Because ShipSaver will cover parcels shipped through any of the major carriers, it’s a no brainer to use them for coverage on all of our shipments! The price for coverage is more than fair and much less than what it would cost to insure through any of the shippers.
    Definately, the best insurer in the business for covering your precious shipments to your valuable customers! Stop wasting time and money with the insurance provided by the shippers! Use ShipSaver and say goodbye to all of your insurance problems! You won’t be sorry you did!

    Very fast claims service. The buyer sent me a picture of the damaged item. I sent it to Shipsaver and the claim was approved in a couple days. Shipsaver deposited the claims amount directly into my PayPal account.
    I sold two glass items and one broke during shipping, while the other one in the same box was fine, the buyer agreed to keep the one and agreed to a partial refund. I refunded the buyer the agreed upon amount and submitted that amount to Shipsaver which they paid, I anticipated problems because it was a little complicated, but there where none, it was very easy. My shipping method was USPS first class international.

    The recent change of ship saver format for insuring threw me for a loop
    at first. After using it, I see it is simple to use and if a new person sees it for the first time, they would have no trouble using it.

    Had some electronic equipment damaged from shipment and shipsaver process a easy process. once the claim process started it and they received the information required i got my payout within a week of completing the claims process. This was my first claim with any insurance usps or shipcover I was worried because of the poor reviews in the past but it looks like they revamped their system or something because it worked or for me and getting more positive reviews. I highly recommend them compared to usps in terms of pricing and based on reviews usps takes a long time to process claims so it’s a no brainer for me.

    Anyone who sells on Ebay or Etsy is setting themselves up to fail if they don’t have ShipSaver insurance in their corner! Unscrupulous buyers now have the upper hand, especially with International transactions where USPS tracking will never show completed delivery of a shipment. This is over 90% of the time people! That’s never on USPS First Class International and only select countries on USPS Priority International Parcels.
    If you aren’t covered by ShipSaver Insurance for these inevitable “false” losses, you’re going to have to eat a lot of product in the near future!
    ShipSaver even informs you of which countries you can safely ship to without fear of these losses.
    We insure every parcel we ship with ShipSaver and will continue to do so! The very best and only reliable insurer of Ebay and Etsy shipments is ShipSaver! Give them a chance and you’ll wonder how you’ve ever gotten by without them! GM

    I dealt with a claim filed by the seller on my behalf. Emma R from Shipsaver contacted me in less than a day to request pictures of damaged item and shipping container. Thereafter, I sent the item to get estimates for repair. After submitting to Emma R, the claim was processed lightning fast and I received the refund from seller. This was my first time dealing with Shipsaver and I am overwhelmed at how courteous, quick to reply and truly professional Emma R was with me through the entire process. It was so important that the claim was resolved quickly because the item damaged is an amplifier I purchased via Ebay for my father’s birthday. Thanks to the USPS, the package was dropped so hard, it disfigured the box and subsequently the amplifier. I was so upset at USPS but truly thankful that the seller was kind enough to purchase the Shipsaver insurance policy. The amp is now being repaired and thanks to Shipsaver, I will get the amp in time to gift it to my father. I am very appreciative to have dealt with Shipsaver instead of UPS, FedEx or USPS insurance. I don’t think I would receive the speedy handling and understanding as I did with Shipsaver. Sellers will benefit as well, by using Shipsaver because it will give buyers piece of mind and promote buyer’s confidence.

    I’ve been using ShipSaver for about 3 years now, this is the first claim I filed and it was pretty seamless, they provided all the requirements I needed to complete and the buyer only had to submit an affidavit. I provided the tracking info and pictures, it was that simple. Submitted on a Friday and the transaction was completed in no time. The buyer was very happy with the process. I do recommend you explain the process to the buyer and note that they will receive their refund upon its completion. I kept them informed and provided them copies of my correspondence with ShipSaver so they were comfortable. I am very happy with the service provided.

    We started using ShipSaver more than a year ago and are extremely pleased with the quality of the services they provide. The cost of insuring our packages through them is certainly affordable and it is very rare now for us to send out a shipment that is not covered by them. They provide excellent courteous, professional and expeditious service all of which makes it possible for us to keep our buyers very happy when, in those rare circumstances, filing a claim becomes necessary. ShipSaver Insurance is a “godsend” and we cannot conceive of trying to operate our eBay store without them. They certainly get a five star rating from us on price, service, and claims handling!

    VERY happy with Shipsaver! I use it for ALL my International packages and some more expensive US packages. It is very cost effective and easy to do. International buyers can be a pain sometimes when they don’t receive a package and they don’t speak English or understand anything you are trying to tell them. Also, Ebay & PayPal will pay the buyer back without blinking an eye, ugh!!

    I can’t believe how easily Shipsaver handled my first claim! For an insurance that is so affordable, it was amazing how quickly and painlessly the claim went through. Once my buyer filled in the affidavit verifying the item was broken in the mail, it took less than a week to receive full payment for the claim.     Filing and processing a claim is a somewhat arduous process, although I can see the reasons for it. For a damage claim, photos are required. What do I do if the buyer does not have the means of photographing the item?

    Another actual occurrence: The buyer claimed the damage was my fault and refused to complete the claim affidavit?

    Also, a final request by Shipsaver was for total destruction of the item and photographic proof of this. They would not allow salvage of the item or parts except for a sixty percent deduction in the award.

    I have been a customer of ShipSaver for several years. At first, it was difficult to file a claim and get it to the buyer to sign, but they have enhanced that feature and made it super easy. I have filed several claims over the years, and each one was promptly handled by ShipSaver. I sell a lot on eBay and with the automatic insure feature I don’t have to worry about items not being insured, even my international shipments using first class.
    I know that ShipSaver ‘has my back’ on items not received claim on eBay. Most of the time, once the claim has filed, the item is promptly received by the customer.
    Claim payments are promptly submitted; customer service has been outstanding; and on top of all of this the insurance cost is the lowest I can find.
    I wholeheartedly recommend ShipSaver

    Truly, the best claim experience ever–exceeded all expectations!
    We submitted a claim for a Pre Columbian Figure that was broken in transit.
    It was shipped via Fedex Smart Post–Fedex denied the claim ($100 ins. included) as item was delivered. Fedex smartpost will only cover if item is undeliverable because of damage–once delivered claim is denied!
    Luckily, we chose ShipSaver to insure the value and Shipsaver more than made up for this and settled within 24 hours!
    I will never use any other parcel ins. service.

    What used to be the easiest way to insure packages on eBay and shipments not related to eBay has turned into a complete disaster. Why this company couldn’t leave well enough alone, especially entering the holiday shipping season is beyond comprehension. I have emailed back and forth and still am unable to navigate something that was so simple. I will now have to find another way to ship my packages

    Shipsaver used to be the best, NOT ANY MORE. I have used them for years without a problem, as I said they were the best. But now since they forced this new APP (version) on everybody, it is now totally useless. They have made something that was easy, into a total unusable disaster (I am being kind). The transfer to the new app is loaded with bugs, many previous shipments are no longer marked as shipped, some aren’t recognized as being insured, etc. Now they expect you to go through their app to mark new shipments as shipped as well as in Ebay (they used to be marked as shipped synced through ebay, . Then I couldn’t mark as shipped without a tracking number (which I almost never use without almost any problems in 100’s of shipments). The new app is just horrendous and unusable. I can’t find a number to call them, and I am not spending days going back and forth with online (non)support. I guess I will have to look for an alternative. STAY AWAY

    I’m very pleased with their service. Claims are easy to submit and promptly reviewed. The new app takes a little while to get used to, just like anything else, it’s just a bit different than I was used to, but not bad. Overall they are very responsive and I will definitely continue to use them and recommend them to everyone. Thank you for a great service at a good price (a rarity these days)!

    Ship saver claims you will save money over the default shipping in eBay. So far that has not been the case. I shipped 6 items yesterday and Shipsaver was .50 to $6.00 more than eBay. I’ll compare the rates with the next batch I ship but it looks like I may be closing my account with Shipsaver.
